RL Cares for NHS programme showcased to UK health leaders

The brilliant work Rugby League Cares does supporting our NHS heroes was showcased at a national conference in London this week.

The charity has been delivering a hugely successful wellbeing programme to NHS staff in the North West over the last three years and earlier that week we took the opportunity to tell more people involved with the UK’s biggest employer about the work we do.

Our NHS Health and Wellbeing Programmes Manager Paul Wood, Health Development and Growth Manager Wendy Barr and Partnerships Manager Nav Uppal spent two days networking at the Transforming NHS Estates conference at the Kennington Oval.

“Our wellbeing delivery to NHS estates staff in Warrington, Widnes and St Helens has been really well received so it was great to be able to chat face-to-face with leaders from other NHS Trusts about the work we do,” said Paul.

“The people we spoke to were really receptive and we have a lot of follow-up conversations to have from Trusts who now want to know more about the amazing benefits of our ‘RL Cares for the NHS’ programme.
