The Bartlett Group to sponsor 2026 RFL President’s Ball

Rugby League Cares is delighted to announce The Bartlett Group as official sponsors of the 2026 Rugby Football League President’s Ball.

This prestigious event will take place on Saturday March 28, 2026, at the Queen’s Hotel in Leeds and will be hosted by RFL President Adam Hills MBE.

The RFL President’s Ball is an important fundraising occasion for the Rugby League Benevolent Fund, the charity that provides long-long support to players who suffer life-changing injuries on the field of play.

RL Cares Chief Executive Chris Rostron said: “On behalf of everyone involved with the RL Benevolent Fund, including the very special group of people who the charity supports, I would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to The Bartlett Group for their generous sponsorship.

“The RFL President’s Ball is a fantastic way to celebrate all that is great about rugby league, and we are delighted that The Bartlett Group will be joining us for a memorable evening of celebration in March.”

Bartlett have been a committed supporter of the sport’ charities over the last 20 years and their sponsorship of the President’s Ball cements a long-standing link with the sport.

Established in 1940, Bartlett are independent specialists creating financial solutions for both businesses and individuals. In addition to corporate insurance, they offer employee benefit solutions, wealth management, pensions and independent financial advice.

Bartlett Major Account Director Ian Roberts said: “Bartlett is very proud not only of our over 80-year relationship with the greatest game, but also of having sponsored the RFL Presidents Ball ever since its inception in 2005.

“It’s fantastic and humbling to see the incredible work the Benevolent Fund has done and continues to do supporting players who have suffered injuries while playing the game.”

Bartlett’s relationship with rugby league goes right back to company founder Fred Bartlett, who served on the Board of Directors of both Hunslet and Leeds.

Today, the business is proudly managed by the third generation of Bartletts, acting for businesses, charities and individuals across the UK from regional manufacturing firms to large financial institutions and global businesses.
