Working in partnership to support NHS workers' wellbeing across seven trusts

In 2021 Rugby League Cares entered a ground-breaking partnership with three NHS trusts in the Northwest aiming to bolster the mental and physical wellbeing of frontline NHS healthcare workers. Due to early and ongoing success the programme is now delivered through 7 NHS Trust with the potential for further growth.

A mental health programme with a difference

Staff receive support from clinically trained former rugby league professionals to enhance their mental fitness and resilience.

The programme strives to maintain the productivity, health, and happiness of NHS staff amid unprecedented pressures caused by the lasting impact of Covid-19.
